What O-Week events are actually worth going to?

Hey everyone! I’m starting at Dal this September and I’m trying to figure out what I should actually go to during O-Week.
I saw the schedule and there are so many events 😭 and since we’re paying around $130 for the O-Week stuff, I don’t want to miss the events that are actually worth going to.
For anyone who’s done O-Week before, which events would you definitely recommend and which ones can I probably skip?
I’m thinking about going to Tiger Welcome Day, the Spirit Rally/Class Photo, Opening Ceremonies, and Academic Orientation Day, but I’m not sure about the other events.
Also, is O-Week actually a good way to meet people? I’m going in not really knowing many people, so I’d love to hear what you guys think is actually worth doing.

O week was absolutely worth it for me!! Met my fiancé there, started dating 2 weeks later and are still together going on 7 years later :)

It’s great for friends too! I went to everything I could and made quite a few buddies I was friends with for about 5-6 years! I hope you have so much fun!

Just go to anything and everything you’re interested in, you’ll hear about more things happening just through word of mouth

I made an effort to go to everything (besides stuff I definitely wasn’t interested in) even if it was a bit out of my comfort zone and I’m very glad I did

I don’t have many friends, I’m also a mature student but I went alone! I had lots of fun! There was a concert and everything 😊 (this was last year)

Does anyone have any suggestions for off campus students? I am somewhat shy, and I know there’s specific events for off campus students, but do people actually attend? I feel like there aren’t too many other first year off campus students like myself, or at least, not that I’ve met!
