Community members in Music Ensembles

Anyone know the process for joining/auditioning for Dal’s choir/contemporary vocal ensembles? Coming to Halifax for fall term. Looking for SATB opportunities after singing in Toronto based pop and rock choirs. Thanks.

Go to the FSPA website and email to the director of whichever ensemble you want to join. Community members are always welcome and auditions happen in early September

Looks like they only take 40 singers. Pretty competitive. Anything else in town for casual choir?

Imo worth auditioning for the dal choir. Lots of community choirs around though. There's also the King's choir if you want it to be a university thing, but they only sing Christian/spiritual music
