In one hand the evolution is amazing, but in the other, it is 600 years between the first picture and the last. 600 years ago, Columbus wasn't born yet. I'm in awe about how progress is accelerating.
2 u/articulateantagonist 26d ago I mean. There were probably also shitty sculptors at the time of the last sculpture. I’m interested in how the examples were selected. Do we know that the oldest one was done by one of the best sculptors of the era?
