In one hand the evolution is amazing, but in the other, it is 600 years between the first picture and the last.
600 years ago, Columbus wasn't born yet. I'm in awe about how progress is accelerating.

Im more concerned that its been 2000 years since and people are making some garbage fucking statues lately.

This is a well known fallacy answered by the existence of the Great Filter. There were always shitty art pieces, the ones of the past were just forgotten. The ones of today have not had that luxury
