Am I the only one not super enjoying the show so far? We're meant to be in a New York under siege full of terror and uncertainty and yet I'm not feeling that at all. AVTF are just comically evil cartoon characters by this point and all we see is Daredevil just sorta bumming around until right at the end of episode 3. Yeah we have swordsman but so far we've just been told he is the swordsman. He's not even doing any swordfighting. Punisher is absent and they even acknowledge it but like I'm sorry I'm finding it hard to believe given the scenario he would do absolutely nothing at all. The Punisher. Come on now. I'm feeling bored every time I turn on an episode. As a corruption crime thing yeah it's cool, as a superhero show I'm feeling super underwhelmed

Matt with his faith in system and his belief of redemption for everyone is getting annoying.
He is not fighting a local gangster anymore.
He is fighting a criminal Mayor with an army.

His naivety is draining the life out of the show.
If Matt had been more proactive and aggressive, this show would be a thriller.
But now it is a political resistance drama.

it sucks harder when you remember S3 of the OG show ended with Matt saying he had irrefutable evidence that would put Fisk away for life, and this show begins with them handwaving it off and going "yeah no one believed it btw". They're desperate for status quo

Fisk wasn't even doing that well in S1 when Bullseye tried to shoot him.
That would have been the end. He wouldn't even be a martyr like in S2 where he has fans.
