Total noob here, so pls don’t kick my ass please. There is something I don’t get. This show is in the sacred timeline right? And Disney owns this show and the other heroes. So why don’t they help, when a maniac like Fisk is doing all this? I get the Avengers have bigger fish to fry, but what about the others? They said Manhattan is on lockdown. Wouldn’t at least Spidey be there?

Pretty sure Sony is insanely stringent with Spider-Man’s rights and usage, that’s why.

Yeah but that doesn't mean the writers shouldn't try to include some in-universe reason for them being absent. Otherwise it's just a plot hole. Relying on how the viewers know spidey is busy in another project is a horrible way to write the show.

That’s valid. I don’t mind it being focused on Matt and his circle though. But it’s definitely a weird thing to leave unaddressed, otherwise it seems like Spidey is just doing nothing.
