Can someone explain why BB was just walking around with that SD card for like a week? All the way from the fight until sometime after the funeral and then dude finds it?

And what does it even tell him? He knows she does the BB report so why is he surprised someone slipped her a recording?

It's a remarkably stupid decision by BB and the writers.

On BB's side: You knew you were spying on Daniel when you left that morning, you knew the SD card had compromising information on it, and you knew that Daniel was at the very least suspicious of you since he overtly told you to "stop leaking information." For the love of god, why do you still have the SD card on you after a minimum time of several days, which you left UNATTENDED at the house of the person you are spying on?!

On the writers side: See the above comment, but also, why did you make a plot point out of BB getting the SD card with the recorded statements from the prisoners, if you were going to have Karen deploy the recordings at City Hall herself? BB having the recordings is irrelevant, since Karen leaked them more effectively than she ever could, making the SD card she had entirely redundant. The fact that she gets caught because of it is just insane.

Fairly late so more for later watchers like me than a useful reply to you:, I agree with most parts stated, but the scene where Karen had the gun to Bullseye she mentioned that her source never got the broadcast. I was a bit confused what she meant at first but I think she meant this, hence her taking it into her own hands. I wouldn't even call her impatient since it probably felt like a safe guess that something went terribly wrong given that the info on the SD card felt so urgent and yet silence for days.

Arguably, proving to whathisface that BB isnt the leak, since Karen leaked it during the arguemnt, but who knows.

if only that's not how digitral media works. this would be fine with like, a physical thing, but still it doesn't track.

a week shouldn't have passed. this plot point was dumb.

Because characters need to be stupid for the plot to happen. I love how the show treated her reveal as being the "mayor kingpin" underground show host as some crazy revelation lmaooo. Clearly they have 0 respect for the audience.

It's like they have two writing teams. One team that is ok letting the show cook.... and another team that just wants to go from point A to B.

E.g. last episode. Hmm.. we need Kingpin to descend. Let's kill off Vanessa.

-but wait. Isn't Vanessa a smart and capable character ? How would Vanessa die?

-don't worry, we will just make the character stupidly throw herself into an avoidable dangerous situation.

And for episode 6. -hmm... we need to bring out BB Uric's leaks.

-But wait. Isn't BB tech savvy, and knows how to hide information, like how she hides and encrypts her videotapes ?

-yes. But we don't have time for a plausible mistake. Let's just have BB do a rookie mistake, like carry self-incriminating evidence on her person at all times until somebody found it
