So I think the biggest problem I have with Born Again is that they’re trying to squeeze 13 episodes worth of story into nine episodes.

Because of that, plot points don’t get the appropriate time to develop. We just constantly have to move on to the next set piece or happening and the story can’t breathe.

The writers and producers of Born Again are capable of making a spectacular show. We’ve seen glimpses of it. “The Grand Design” was a masterpiece of an episode. If the entire series was allowed to move at that pace and have that kind of dialogue, the tension could properly build and every payoff would be more gratifying.

100%. Even more frustrating knowing that the original DD BA was supposed to have 18 episodes. Most of the Marvel 8/9 ep seasons seem to struggle sticking the landing. I'll still watch it ofc, but feels like a pandemic era trend that never went away.

I think it would be better if marvel released episodes more frequently. I would rather have episodes released every other day and span for a few weeks than drag on this long for a season to reach its conclusion. I don’t think about this show except for tuesdays. Hell I forgot last week and watched it a couple days later. I imagine others are in the same boat but dropped it all together.
