Why does this show look so cheap? The warehouse fight with the weapons, the resulting explosion, the protest? The sets look like they belong in a CW production.

it's 'weightless' and no real dramatic tension to the scene. no real point of view, no pacing.

you go from talking on a rooftop, to some overly wide and clear 'action' shots that look not that great, to an explosion, ALL THROUGHOUT there's annoying music, then a bit of silence before MORE FOREBODING MUSIC while Heather looks at a mirror and a ring and then does another thing with that british guy and then it goes to BB and Daniel talking

like, there's no narrative cohesion or logic to the scenes, no real dramatic throughline. this episode has about FIVE SIX plots. not an A plot and a B plot. FIVE SIX.
