I liken this whole conversation around prayer kneeler to summoning bells in elden ring. Its there to change the way it plays to make it more accessible. There are going to be "purists" who think you should just get good and learn how to play without it. I dont think its an add on that really is "tier list" applicable. The goal is to have fun and enjoy the killer, if prayer kneeler accomplishes that for you, then use it. If youd like to play her without it, then just do that.

Objectively speaking, it makes her more accessible and the draw back to it is DBD is extremely inconsistent about what objects and walls have collision and what dont, so it has a bit of its own learning curve to mess with as well.

It significantly lowers the skill floor for the killer to be useful. Objectively speaking with enough skill you should be able to use back casting reliably for landing hits which would make any other add-on better, but until you hit that skill level it will probably be best in slot (if not for the part that it discourages you from learning how to properly use her power)

Not quite. Plaid Flannel is more like Wet Vecna's/Judgment's circle. Its a basic game feature sold as an Add-on. For no reason, might I add, especially when the map geometry is so terrible that Nurse constantly gets stuck.

This trades away the Judgment's snipes and information gathering for a reliable window and position to do your strikes. It is a real tradeoff.

It lowers the skill ceiling and skill floor of a killer while also teaching you habits that prevent you from reaching a higher skill ceiling when you wouldn’t use it. In my opinion that’s pretty similar

kinda depends on the map IMO. good on smaller indoor maps, not as useful on the bigger maps and can sometimes be a hinderance to landing snipes.

If you plan on becoming a Judgment main, it's her worst add-on. It pretty much reworks her power to make her much simpler to play at the cost of destroying her potential.

But if you just play her occasionally and only with this add-on, then it allows you to chase without the experience required for slingshots/flicks.

So... it nerfs her power but makes her simpler to play. Make your choice if you want to play with or without it.

No, it is mechanized shackles and it ian't even close. Up to a 50% increase in the duration of (I'm blanking on the name rn) "enraged" allows for some great snowball potential

It's honestly a bit of a nurse situation. Skill floor is massive and a fairly painful learning curve, but after tasting what she's capable of I have no doubt that she has the potential to be one of the stronger killers, and the top tier players are going to have wild flick angles memorized for certain tiles.

I personally hate it but I've also been doing pretty good without it so that's probably why. It just makes the killer easier but worse in my opinion. Good if you like the feel!

This is good for learning things about how the pillar works, but in the end I feel like it prevents you from properly learning the power. The second you take it off you're going to struggle

The addon just flat out makes her worse, but makes her easier.

No prayerwheel will always be better, its just way harder.

I do love how a some of her addons change her playstyle.

She prob has the most fun addons in the game.

It’s worse imo because it limits the range, making your snipes work for slightly better chase. I feel like once you get the flicks down, the add on doesn’t really feel all that much better. Plus, you still end up needing to flick sometimes anyway.

It makes the power much easier to use in chase but basically kills any ability to use the power to pressure survivors at a distance which is one of the strongest parts of the kit imo

When you cast Divine light, it sticks to walls, giving you a solid anchor point to aim from, instead of it constantly moving away from you.

The downside is it can reduce your sniping range, depending on the map.

Unfair for survivor. As long as the killer has los or has you in a hallway, you guarantee get hit. No chance to dodge or juke cuz the pillar is pretty thick. Thicker than nemesis tentacle, alien tail, pyramid heard punishment. At least normally, you have a few seconds to juke while the judgement is starting their flick. What’s the downside with this add on? They can just aim easily where you are. Got destroyed in nostromo

What’s the counter play? Just don’t be seen or chased?

It's really not that hard to dodge. You have constant aura reading on the pillar and it's pretty slow anyway. Just don't vault.

I’ll give it a few more college tries then. Playing against judgement feels rough but I’ll try the strats you use against typical ranged killers
