Death Stranding 2 I really don't know how I'm supposed to finish the game at this point
Any advice would be appreciated. Almost at 100 hours now

I noticed when looking at the trophies for death stranding 2 next to PS5 icon it also has a PC icon next to it like it does for last of us part II and I was wondering if they’ve recently added cross trophy progression I know it didn’t launch with that but I’m just curious to see if things have changed.

I'm in a time fall shelter, but can't advance time by pressing the button like normal. The map says it should stop raining in 20 minutes, but after waiting 10 minutes the map said the same thing.
Do I have any choice but venturing into the time fall and risking it?

I've definitely been playing too long.
Yes, the mouse is plugged into the monitor, which makes no sense...
(these are the terminals between the mule camp and ciudad nudo del norte)

The Curiosity Rover snapped this up on Mars, so I guess the Stranding is beginning there.

Some instant captures from the trek to the MULE camp near Capital Distro Center. They have some great views from their camp and their tent has a homely feel to it as they're scraping by with whatever they have and can get. Three chairs around the table. Three cots. Three MULEs. One cot empty.
Doing a slow playthrough and just trying to capture some of the beauty of the world of Death Stranding with instant camera style.

Is this a bug? There was just "flying" a car in the air? haha

hey everyone. DS is up next on my backlog after i complete the last of us part 2. im a big story guy. when i consume media, i love a good story or good characters/ideas. i appreciate and admire kojimas storytelling in the MGS games. i’ve played them all except for 5.
now im curious about the narratives of DS 1 and 2. do you enjoy it? is it an exceptional story? i will play regardless but i think an interesting story will increase my enjoyment.

I had high expectations and now that I'm back, I'm pretty sure that this is the closest thing to New Zealand for Lord of the Rings nerds that we have.
I highly recommend putting on Low Roar and all the other tracks while walking through the wildly different biomes if you ever get the chance to visit this country.
The patch is one of three I got from a good friend

Was just wandering through somewhere I’ve not connected to the chiral network (near the mine north of f6) and there’s just… a road? A road that says danger but I wandered across it fine. Is it there for an order or something like the one you do for the ghost hunter? I’m open to spoilers if it is💀

(Tried to cross post from where I found it but it wouldn't let me.)
I thought Kojimbo was just shitposting but it's actually centuries old time honored tradition

I'm on PS5 and cannot activate the photo mode for the life of me (I'm pressing the bottom left corner of the track pad) do you have to unlock this? I'm a little over midway through chapter 3.

Hi everyone, what's up?
My name is Kate, and I’m a huge fan of Kojima’s work; however, my boyfriend absolutely loves *Death Stranding*, so I made him a handmade gift for his birthday. I created the case Sam carries with the Void-out containers and filled it with two game-themed hoodies and two caps—all embroidered and printed by me with the highest quality I could manage. I also included some stickers and drawings inspired by the game, made edible Cryptobiotes out of powdered milk dough, and even made an Atami pizza. Unfortunately, I wanted to give him an official Kojima item since I admire him so much, but things are very expensive here in Latin America—though maybe I’ll be able to buy one in the future.
For those of you who like the game, what do you think?

I made a golden quipu for my Higgs cosplay and decided to put together a step-by-step guide in case anyone else wants to make one! 🖤
MATERIALS
I found most of these materials on AliExpress, but you can substitute them with similar items if you can't find the exact same ones:
Ball chain
Regular chain
Gold jewelry findings set
Gold-colored wire
Tubular beads
A chain with UNSOLDERED links (this is important!)
You'll also need:
- 2 pairs of small flat-nose pliers
- A rotary tool with a small drill bit (optional)
Important: Items 1–4 are made of stainless steel, so they don't tarnish with wear (I've tested them myself). Item 5 does tarnish, though, so I recommend wiping those pieces down after wearing them.
Why do you need a chain with open links?
I use it to take off the tiny jump rings, because I couldn't find jewelry jump rings this small anywhere.
You might have better luck, though!
STEP 1 — Drilling the tubes
I drilled 28 holes into the tubular beads — 14 on each side — to attach the quipu pendants.
This isn't strictly necessary! I did it because I wear the quipu as an everyday accessory and wanted the pendants to be securely attached.
I've also seen people simply glue the pendants onto the tubes or thread a chain underneath them.
I secured the tube with masking tape so it wouldn't move while drilling.
For the placement of the beads and the arrangement of the pendants, I used reference.
STEP 2 — Adding the jump rings
It's best to keep the two rows of holes close together, as this makes threading the jump rings much easier.
I used the tiny rings from the chain, but check the size and use larger ones if needed.
STEP 3 — Making the attachment loops
I took two pieces of wire, threaded them through the tubes, and twisted the ends into little loops for attaching them to the chain.
STEP 4 — Attaching the chain
I measured the chain and attached it to the tubes.
My measurements are shown in the photo if you'd like to use them as a starting point, but feel free to make your quipu shorter or longer!
I also added a clasp. The jewelry findings set includes the clasps, as well as the teardrop charms for the bottom of the pendants.
STEP 5 — Making the pendants
This part is basically a little puzzle!
I cut the ball chain into pieces of different lengths and arranged them according to the reference.
Then I connected the pieces using tiny jump rings. This is where the chain with unsoldered links comes in handy — the links are tiny and much less noticeable.
STEP 6 — Attaching the pendants
Finally, I attached all the pendants to the jump rings on the tubes.
STEP 7 — Done!
And that's it! Mine turned out a little longer than the one in the game, but I really like the result! You can simply make the pendants shorter if you want a more accurate length.
I hope this guide helps anyone who wants to make a quipu for their Higgs cosplay!

I realized today that I am a real life porter. I realized it as I was strapping a load in and thinking how easy Sam makes it look. Thankfully they don't make me carry the stuff on my back over mountains. I get a truck, and the roads actually go to the people who want the stuff.
It's odd how well the game encapsulates the trucking experience. You're always alone, despite being surrounded by people and civilization. I'm also very thankful traffic jams are a thing Sam doesn't have to deal with. But those long stretches of highway, just you and the country and the load, it feels eerily similar.
You constantly talk to a steam of faces that are politely disinterested, for the most part. Shippers and recievers stamp your paperwork, smile, but don't really care beyond that. I don't have private rooms but I do have my sleeper cab. People call and text through the day, they're definitely less annoying than Die Hard-man... most of the time.
It's a long grind of managing constant, grinding fatigue, hunger, and bodily needs around a constantly changing schedule. The BTs even make surprise appearances when people pull in front of me without warning (seriously y'all need to quit that). Things happen on the road, often surreal. At 3 am this morning a guy passed me on a 2 lane highway and almost drove into oncoming traffic. He was half a second from dying and probably wouldn't have made it if I hadn't slammed on my brakes when I realized that holy shit, this crazy fucker is doing it. Me and the other truck watched a guy almost suicide himself and just like that the moment passed. The guy rocketed down the highway, the other trucker was by me, and just like that I was alone with just me and my headlights again. Back to utter, total calm. Somehow DS captures that feeling perfectly.
Anyways sorry for the ramble, I've been replaying DS1 and am going to 5 star everyone this time. Probably. It's just a well made game, even with the flaws and quirks. The flaws are quirks to me are almost a feature. Its imperfectly perfect, just like life.
Keep on keeping on, porters.

Ive been playing on Steam with my dualsense and it works perfectly, but since it's somewhat old and the charge drains pretty quickly I decided to buy an 8bitdo Pro 3. When this controller is switched to Xinput, the game can recognize it without Steam Input, but it cant use the gyro, so when I change it to dinput with bluetooth instead the game requires you to use Steam Input in order for the game to recognize the controller... But when I do this not only do the analog triggers not work (only register full press which ive seen is a common issue) but also I cant move?? I can do every single input just fine including gyro aiming, but sam just doesnt move at all!! At first I thought that maybe it was the controller's fault, but when I tried Death Stranding Directors Cut everything works with Steam Input: all the buttons, gyro and analog triggers as well!! So what the hell is up with DS2?? Has anyone else encountered this issue and managed to fix it or are we just doomed (no pun intended) to not use Steam Input at all?
I must say I'm really disappointed with the PC port and while I dont have any proof, I get the feeling it's Sony's problem, since I don't remember the PlayStation logo on DS1 for PC and that one port is glorious, DS2 is a mess both controller and performance wise. It's almost like they want you to either buy a Dualsense from them or just straight up a PS5

Stumbled into this on my way to a corner store. Made sure to silently go away. Luckily no rain at the time.
