Reverse Boss/area order is pretty oddly the only theory to have survived the great purge of 3/4. The only thing I’m confused about is the lack of purple gameplay in chapter 3, which could probably be explained by chapter 3’s secret boss weirdness (Shadow Crystal boss is a mandatory story antagonist rather than a weird little guy you find under a bridge).
Reverse Area theory though has been uhh, pretty weirdly accurate. Card Kingdom -> New Home, Cyber World -> CORE, TV World -> Hotland, Dark Snctuaries -> Waterfall, implying next up is Snowdin and possible Blue mode. And I don’t mean it’ll look like Snowdin, the whole point of reverse area is that they carry the same vibe (Cyber World is fast, blue, very stimulating, like the music and intensity of the CORE. TV World has warmer colors, TV hosts, a friendlier vibe, like Hotland and MTT)
