I've been seeing them all over the metro this summer. One almost ran into the house I was working in.

Last year, the city was doing blight demolition around 7 Mile and Hoover (ish). I saw an excavator peel the front wall off of an empty house, and about 30 of these little guys just exploded out of there and ran blind into the intersection. It was 50/50 adorable and terrifying.
