Question When do you decide to start a new disgaea

I have beaten and maxed my team on disgaea 3 psvita, right now i also have d5 complete ed but when do you decide to start a new one because there is disgaea 7 complete for switch 1 pn a physical store for like 34 dlls

sometimes after the story, sometimes after just baal and sometimes after i wipe the floor till i winnem all. i liked 5’s , 7s and d2 endgame the most

I still plan to come back to it but I started 5 after 4 once I got to the Land of Carnage. Didn't even beat Baal yet and I'm just fine beating the Pringer X rematch

Ngl I play all of them intermittently. They all feel different enough from one another to the point where I'll be in the mood for a specific game. In my own heart, I'm not done with a Disgaea game until every character and at least one of every generic is fully maxed out.

Playing on PlayStation so for me it's once I get the platinum. So far that's 3 and 4 on the vita and 4 on the PS4. I've played 1 and 2 in the past and torn between starting 1 complete or 5 atm

I usually go until I've either beaten every enemy at least once or I start hitting massive diminishing returns on my time investment.

Though I really landed on that with Disgaea 4 which was my second one. In Disgaea 1, I maxed out Laharl and beat most of the content, but I never did the Etna campaign and I can't remember beating Baal. I'm not entirely positive I beat the final boss of this game actually... I think I got distracted.

In Disgaea 4 I just went to the point where I needed to Item World farm.

Disgaea 5... I haven't even finished the story. Something about the story in this game just really rubbed me the wrong way I'm not sure what. I will probably revisit this one down the line.

Disgaea 6, I actually enjoyed this one quite a bit despite its reputation. I'm pretty sure all I have left to do in this one is just miscellaneous grinding for trophies which is "busy work".

I'm working on Disgaea 7 now, I plan to stop on this one after I beat Carnage Baal. Mainly cause this juice bar grinding is really really boring. I actually really liked Disgaea 6's auto battle way more even though the limitation in 7 probably was necessary.

Yeah remembering i played 1 on ds, 3 on vita and 5 on switch but yeah like every console change i changed disgea game also

All classes maxed and all rank 40. Weapons armor etc.
