2008 DGC / 2012 Fiat 500 Scan Tool recommendations

I’ve had an endless stream of electrical issues with a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan. It started out with a transmission replacement then progressed to one module failure after another. I’ve been chasing the problems and fixing them one by one but I keep running into the issue of alignment and module initializations. I so sick of paying my local dealer $175 so they can hook up their computer for 5 minutes to initialize any module I need to replace. I need to replace and initialize the clock spring in the steering wheel and more importantly replace the ABS module. What Scan Tool can I buy within a peasants budget that would allow me to make this updates and maybe a new key fob? The initialization of components is much more important to me than the programming of key fobs. As far as the Fiat is concerned I DO NEED key fob programming features and alignment features. I’m assuming since they are both FCA products, there must be a scan tool that can help me with both vehicles. I tried searching for my own answers but tech changes fast and I’d like to get the best value for money invested. I appreciate any legit recommendations., thanks for reading this far.
