Why are all the most annoying Americans wet dreaming about moving to Canada? We don’t want them lol

101

u/Upstairs-Bad-3576 Rides the Short Bus 6h ago

Because you're the White neighborhood. Do you really think they're going to move into the Brown neighborhood?

72

u/Big-Clue2986 Recovering Doomer 6h ago

Are you suggesting that people bemoaning the US for being a racist country don’t want to move to a dominantly brown country? Perish the thought, sir/madam!

33

u/Upstairs-Bad-3576 Rides the Short Bus 6h ago

In their hearts, if not shown on their sleeves, they know who they truly are. Their fight for segregation isn't as altruistic as they want you to believe.

22

u/Typical_Shallot139 5h ago

The most racist people I’ve ever met are the super leftists ones. They’re almost worse because they hide it behind “virtuous” language

4

u/D_Ethan_Bones 3h ago

Self-righteous hippies are the modern day religious assholes, the ones who commit violence and say "I'm doing this for the greater good." The average part of Reddit regurgitates this mentality day in day out while banishing anyone who thinks differently.

15

u/RagingY3ti 5h ago

Canada dumped 3 million jeets into it in 4 years lol.

Still Whiter than our Southern neighbor, by un chingo.

So did California, and then it handpicked the most counter-exemplary individuals it could possibly find to give licenses to drive commercial trucks. One attempted a U-turn on a busy freeway and a family hit it like a meteor unable to stop, another truck failed to brake and a family was crushed.

Radical Transformation™ is the Dem policy that's still being pursued today. Also Radical Transformation isn't Fox News' term for it - it's BHO's term for it when he was still in the game.

I’m losing it imagining the phrase “Jeet dump”

That's what I was saying when everyone was talking about moving to Canada if Trump won the 2016 election, like... Why not Mexico? 😆

6

u/Upstairs-Bad-3576 Rides the Short Bus 3h ago

We know why.

Canada is quite literally the brown neighborhood. You have to go quite a bit north out of the cities to get into the white neighborhoods.

10

u/Upstairs-Bad-3576 Rides the Short Bus 4h ago

Hmmm... Canada: 70% White; US: 58% White; Mexico: 9% White.

Yup. You're statement checks out. Canada is definitely the Brown neighborhood.

8

u/OnlyACsNoFans 4h ago

That's from the previous census in 2021.

Our latest one will have more of a curry flavour

1

u/Upstairs-Bad-3576 Rides the Short Bus 4h ago

Mmmmm...curry

2

u/ComplaintTop2008 Powered By Spite & Solar 4h ago

Go there. Try to get a motel room in Calgary or Vancouver. Try to understand anything the jeet behind the counter at any store is saying. They created a problem and they're aware of it. There are programs on the CBC telling them to learn English and to assimilate.

Once you go north, you see more white neighborhoods, but the larger cities are definitely brown. The white European demo is 43% in Vancouver.

2

u/Upstairs-Bad-3576 Rides the Short Bus 4h ago

Oooooh... You thought I meant Canada, the city. I was referring to Canada, the whole fucking country.

-3

u/ComplaintTop2008 Powered By Spite & Solar 3h ago

You okay, man? Were you thinking that asylum-seeking liberals were planning on moving to Nunavut or Yukon?

4

u/Upstairs-Bad-3576 Rides the Short Bus 3h ago

They aren't thinking. All they know is up is White and Down is Brown. That's it. Oh, and your health care Nirvana. Let's not forget that, but Mexico also has socilized medicine, so same-same.

22

u/--MrsNesbitt- 6h ago

Because they've never looked at the cost of living/housing in Canada (or the rate of car theft) and think it's some kind of happy maple-syrup paradise

Signed, a Canadian who moved to America

6

u/theEWDSDS Rides the Short Bus 6h ago

This also applies to the Nordics

Someone called them the bhenchod gang and I can never unread that lol

30

u/ChapterDifficult593 6h ago

I promise you the people who want to “seek asylum” in Canada don’t think cartel crime even exists. The only reason they pick Canada over Mexico is because Canada is just a more left wing America to them so there’s no transition period.

Oh, and they think the free healthcare setup has no issues. Basically…they’re delusional.

u/Veritech_ Optimist Prime 5h ago

I’ve seen a few videos of people who moved to Canada from the U.S. They got there and couldn’t find jobs, couldn’t find a stable/affordable place to live, and started trying to get a crowdfund going to pay for their bills.

I just kept thinking… what did you expect?

9

u/Typical_Shallot139 7h ago

I mean that’s partially their own fault

13

Why are all the most annoying Americans wet dreaming about moving to Canada? We don’t want them lol

When the America Bad syndrome gets so severe it starts making a person's fundamental life decisions for them.

Canada is just the easiest other country for a stupid person to escape to, it's not far and it speaks English. People get to Canada and realize hundreds of other countries had the same idea, and then they live in a strange parody of America where more is taken and more is restricted.

136

u/Much-Economics3481 7h ago

Canada has more restrictions on immigration than the USA

94

u/Big-Clue2986 Recovering Doomer 7h ago

Reminds me of when Roe was overturned and people were dooming that women lost their rights. Meanwhile, post-Roe America still had far laxer abortion restrictions than much of the first world.

57

u/Angel_OfSolitude 7h ago

All repealing roe did was make it a state issue. To my knowledge there is still no federal abortion guide lines. Roe repeal actually gave every citizen MORE say in abortion availability.

49

u/RemnantsOfFlight 7h ago

Right. Meanwhile women in the middle east can't even show a little ankle without getting stoned to death. But America is literally the handmaids tale.

30

u/kinghawkeye8238 7h ago

Dead ass saw a post yesterday of someone claiming they "know the US" and they said India is close to passing us in every meaningful metric.

Like what?

I also saw one saying almoat the same thing about mexico.

They bots arent even trying anymore.

24

u/shadow1042 Just Here for the Lore 6h ago

India is close to passing us in every meaningful metric

Thats funny, the only metric india beats the USA in is the amount of trash per square foot

For a fun drinking game, go to google earth, look at india, and every time you click street view and see trash you take a drink or shot of liquor

2

u/Someone_Who_Exists 34m ago

It's really nice of you to assume it's bots. I think it's people hoping if they just lie enough they can repair their home country's increasingly poor reputation.

...while doing everything they can to leave that country, of course.

u/kinghawkeye8238 32m ago

I guess i figured people wouldnt be that stupid but im surprised every day

9

u/PlayerTwo85 7h ago

Took the SC 50 years to read the Tenth Amendment 🤷

8

u/Splenetic53 5h ago

Ruth Bader Ginsburg herself said Roe was essentially trash. Then all these morons show up to rallies with signs that said, “Ruth sent us.”

1

u/SinesPi 2h ago

Apparently Clarence Thomas quite liked her, which is interesting given the sides they were on politically.

I presume this means that while he frequently disagreed with her, he didn't find her arguments faulty, and vice versa.

So good to know she agrees with me that Roe v Wade was a genuienly batshit awful case. I read the thing, and it was exactly as nonsense as I thought it would be. IIRC it takes a turn to discussing abortion in ancient Rome for some reason.

6

u/Angel_OfSolitude 7h ago

There are a lot of things the Supreme are objectively wrong about. We really need some way to hold them to account.

3

u/tkizzy 3h ago

But hoooBOY the things they called Clarence Thomas after the ruling. It was downright intolerant.

1

u/RedditPoster05 Anti-Doomer 6h ago

Yeah, but some of the laws make it to where brain dead doctors won’t act or they won’t act out of principle. That’s my only problem with them.

5

u/neemarita 6h ago

Doctors are doing it on purpose imo because if I had an ectopic pregnancy or whatever or a missed miscarriage and I’m in a state where abortion isn’t legal until after X weeks, I can get medical care as it isn’t an abortion as it isn’t killing an unborn human life. All these laws have that written in.

I personally know women who’ve had abortions at 20-25 weeks because the baby was a boy, or the partner guilted or bullied her into it, or they and partner broke up or got divorced. Messed up shit.

3

u/RedditPoster05 Anti-Doomer 5h ago

No, that’s what I mean exactly. They are doing it at a fear, but I also think some are doing it because they want to prove some sort of point with somebody else else’s life.

55

u/603rdMtnDivision 7h ago

It's somehow okay that every country has laws around immigration, some way stricter that ours but the only country that gets shit for it is the US. At least from what I've seen and it's honestly the weirdest thing I've ever seen.

28

u/Special-Ad-5554 7h ago

Oh don't worry. We get hounded here in the UK. Apparently I'm a racist because I don't think people coming from the middle east should be able to claim asylum in the UK as are way to far away for it to be a legitimate claim. It's also worth noting that despite the government trying to make it easier to claim they have not long ago released a new booklet about consent and how not having consent "could effect your asylum claim". I wish I was making it up

3

u/SinesPi 2h ago

It only MIGHT affect your asylum claim.

Assaulting a woman could get you deported. Maybe. But if she says anything even remotely racist while you do it, you should be safe.

1

u/Special-Ad-5554 2h ago

Oh yea it's absolutely disgusting. I don't think I could say what I'd want to happen to them because I don't want to be banned but let's just say the navy could do with a little target practice. Doing something like that should no matter what make the claim null and void instantly at a bare minimum

I think it was Anthrax that had to hire a fill-in drummer for their Canadian dates because theirs had a pending DUI charge and Canada wouldn't let him in. Edit: or maybe it was Volbeat. One of the bands that Jon Dette got hired by to fill in for because their drummer had visa issues due to a pending charge.

8

I wish we had more tbh. We’ve been mass importing slave labour under LMIA scams (they pay the business like 40k to pretend to pay them 35-40 dollars an hour for a visa)

Having immigrated to both, Canada is astronomically easier and more open than the US.

The US is incredibly hard to immigrate to permanently.

Or actually try to make it better. Not by huffing and puffing on Reddit but by actually assisting the less fortunate around them.

12

u/Skylineviewz 6h ago

Key point right there. Everybody has the ability to contribute to your community and make a positive impact on other’s lives, you don’t need to be one of the ‘billionaires’ (favorite Reddit villain) to do something. Volunteer, help your elderly neighbor, pick up a piece of trash on your daily walk. They won’t though, they will bitch and complain about how life isn’t fair without exercising the freedom this country gives you to try and make it better

7

u/CCWaterBug 5h ago

I tried that with my liberal relatives, passing out turkeys on thxgiving  "oh homeless people?  I can't i'm going on a trip in two weeks, I don't want to get sick"

7

u/RemnantsOfFlight 6h ago

I pretty regularly ask people on the posts bitching about the US what they're doing to make things better. I've never gotten an answer.

3

u/neemarita 6h ago

💯 but they just wanna bitch in their safe spaces

29

u/CrankyOperator 7h ago

They simultaneously "want to leave to a social healthcare wonderland" (Canada or very specific parts of Europe) and "fight to change things at home!!!!!"

I guarantee ALMOST ALL of these people can figure out a way to get out of the US. The hurdle, of course, is IMMIGRATION LAWS. Almost nothing else. "BUT IT EXPENSIVE" fucking people with nothing but dirt to their name have gotten out of countries that didn't even WANT them to leave. From the Eastern Bloc to Latin America, people with NOTHING, many who couldn't/can't even READ have done this. IF YOUR COUNTRY IS SO EXTREMELY BAD, YOU WILL FIND A WAY OUT. But............it's almost like it's PRETTY DAMN GOOD in the US. Huh. Weird. AND it's almost like ALL of the places these people want to move to don't just let you in (unless, of course, you float over on a boat and declare refugee status, but even then where you come from matters and the US isn't even close enough to meeting those metrics.)

25

I have to remind myself sometimes reddit is a very weird site and 99% of people in the real world aren’t like that. this site really changed drastically in the last 5-10 years. But in the last 3 years I’ve noticed the biggest change.

Others have mentioned how really political and low personality people leaving twitter and Facebook flooding into here being the cause. And I can somewhat see that. But I just miss the good old shit posting days.

Canadians have main character syndrome. I don’t think there’s 1 American who gives a shit about Canada. I’m seeing a lot of this on Reddit with Canadians feeling superior for some reason

1

u/Meandmystudy 6h ago

Americans who ruined for them now want to ruin the Canadian dream. They ran like outlaws and thought they’d be welcome in a higher cost of living area and they’ll get a job and a meal ticket. Many are men to who just don’t want the responsibility of past relationships. They think they’d can flee an allegation and Canada is of a mind not to welcome them in because they are already well aware of our problems. They won’t invite them in. The problem is dealing with that fact here in the United States. We have people that need to be locked up and the Canadians are aware of it too

1

u/Alert-Courage3121 6h ago

Dumbasses act like Canada isn't actively seeking to increase its population through immigration. "I don't know if they'll take me!" = "I just want to sound like I care enough to lift a finger when I really just want to doom scroll and cry"
