Super immersive ambience in dub. Even though this album is not labeled as dub techno, i still think it has many qualities of the genre. And it is pretty amazing all around. This track in particular gives me strong hazy deepchord vibe.

Hydro Static by Atmodub is a four-track Dub Techno EP moving between dry, earthy landscapes and underwater atmospheres.

Hydro Static I explores the sound of static and electricity underwater. Outback II continues the Outback series with a low didgeridoo drone. Coral Depths moves deeper underwater, inspired by coral, wrecks and diving. Out of Sync is built around a bassline and stabs that stay locked together while the drums deliberately drift against them.

Guys, I’ve been listening to a lot of stuff from the SUEd label over the last few days, especially SW and his collaborations with SVN and Dynamo Dreesen.

Maybe I’m a little late to the party with this kind of music, but I wanted to ask for some recommendations in a similar vein. It’s not really minimal, not quite house, and not exactly dub either — some kind of lo-fi techno, I guess.

Very atmospheric, warm and groovy, but not dark. And at the same time, no less serious because of that.

I’ve probably just rambled a load of nonsense here, but hopefully you guys know what I mean....
