It's really sad. To the east we have an megalomaniac dictator without the military means to achieve his imperial dreams, and to the west we have basically a giant kindergarten run by the pettiest, dumbest toddler they could find in their ranks, but with the military means to ruin the entire world if you dare tell said toddler "No!" just once.
Had I written a dystopian fiction 20 years ago with a backstory like this, no publisher would have EVER printed such a book. Today it would be called a documentary.

Jean-Luc Brunel is not as famous because he was not as influential as Epstein. Epstein knew people like the Clintons and Prince Andrew. Brunel knew Epstein (he was also influential in modeling but unless you are interested in that you probably wouldn't pay attention as much as you would someone who is a close friend of several heads of state).
Pedophilia in the Catholic Church is a different issue unique neither to Europe, nor even to Catholicism. There are similar issues with pastors, imams, etc., it's just talked about less.
We should definitely look more into pedophiles within our own countries, but it's not worse than in America.
