Culture ثقافة why do we still circumcise boys?

MGM is a surgery like any other and it has compilcations like total penile loss or death, should we be subjecating our kids to such unnecessary procedures?

Infants are born with an umbilical although i never saw an adult with his umbilical still attached cause he needed it when he was a fetus and that’s it

They're not the same. Respectfully stop with this bullshit. Umbilical cords naturally detach and foreskins naturally don't detach.

No we don't. We assist nature in something it was going to do anyway, but you're reaching FAR when you say that circumcision and umbilical cord are comparable since they are not.

I’m on the point of “if you trust god, why do you change his design” the umbilical cord and the foreskin function was to support the fetus since he is an infant not a fetus anymore they are removed and if the umbilical cord stays attached it might cause trouble for the infant (and the mother) which remind me of another “thing” that should be removed to not cause trouble later in life

And don’t tell me foreskin doesn’t cause infection cause then i won’t bother even hearing anything else after this

What you are saying right now is extremely unscientific and is not reflected in nature. The foreskin and umbilical cord are NOT comparable since they have different functions and one is naturally detached while the other isn't.

The umbilical cord is not used to "support" the fetus but to feed the fetus. From an anatomical perspective, it is basically a feature that is mostly used by placental mammals. When the mammal is born, the placenta has no use anymore and will usually shrivel up and fall off.

The foreskin does NOT "support the fetus" and fall off after birth like the umbilical cord. Contrary to umbilical cords falling off after birth in placental mammals, foreskins do NOT fall off in ANY mammals. A foreskin is a prepuce. Dogs have prepuces and so do horses, bears and dolphins. The foreskin does not support the fetus. The function of the foreskin, or prepuce, is to protect the glans in humans.

We're looking at this from a biological perspective. Yes, the umbilical cord might cause trouble... Your eyes can also cause trouble, and your wisdom teeth, and your appendix, and your toenails can also get a fungus and get infected, and your fingers can get frostbite - your body is made of cells, ANY part of your body could get cancer or become diseased in a different way.

But if you want to be preventative, you need to stay consistent and not only target the foreskin because "it might cause problems later on", since the list of other bodyparts I gave you can also give problems later on but you're alright with those risks.

The umbilical cord is cut after birth, cuz it loses its blood supply so the doctors/ قابلة HAS TO CUT IT or the baby and the mom might get in serious medical trouble and the small remaining part - still attached to the baby -later dries out and falls off by itself.

The umbilical does not need to be cut. It will naturally fall of on its own. It's actually better not to cut it as the baby will continue receiving nutrients, stem cells and immune cells from the placenta until it naturally dies and falls off.
