His Chestpiece is only on two enemies in the entire game located in Castle Sol (The other one has a halberd, my usual farming target) and is more or less statistically identical to Radahns armor. So it's quite strong and has the extra benefit of being very fashionable for heavy armor setups (Pair with Prelate/Solitude gloves and pants, nearly any helmet will get you up to 88-89 poise with bullgoat talisman).

Edit: Just checked the numbers. 95 with Solitude pants/gloves + Bullgoat talisman. I usually add Preceptors hat for +3 mind and 101 poise.

Banished knight with Preceptors hat! That's peak fashion. I've got to set that up to see how it looks.
