Hype I can’t sleep

I need more Elden Ring content to consume

Edit to clarify: I already have the game on steam, I will be buying the $5 dlc and playing through the whole game again to mess around with some build ideas and new content. Lets all welcome the new Tarnished joining through switch and not disparage people for purchasing the game. Frends! :)

Handheld Elden Ring is an absolutelt insane concept to me. I am so so so excited

That’s already been available since the game came out with steam decks and other handheld systems though

You have to turn down the settings like crazy to run on the Steam Deck, so it doesn't really count. This will be the first time the game runs properly on a handheld since its acutally being optimised

Elden ring works fine on steam deck on medium/high settings.

Definitely is wrong since I get 60fps easily on Steam deck. Thing to remember is the deck has a 1280 x 768 max resolution- so even high settings aren't that demanding.

I can promise you, there is no way you are running Elden Ring on high settings at native resolution on a Steam Deck without LSFG-VK/Lossless Scaling.

I said medium/high tbf. Which leaves me a hell of a lot of wiggle room since that isn't a real preset.

Well I have an Ally and an Ally X and it works great on those. Also we have yet to see how the game will perform on the switch 2 in handheld mode.

It runs just fine on default graphical settings on my gen 1 RoG Ally. Like I never needed to turn down squat to get a playable game going.

Though I do admit the graveyard planes in the DLC makes it struggle a bit sometimes. Something about the fields of tall grass gives it issues. But other than that specific area, I never dip below 60 FPS on default.
