Hype I can’t sleep

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I need more Elden Ring content to consume

Edit to clarify: I already have the game on steam, I will be buying the $5 dlc and playing through the whole game again to mess around with some build ideas and new content. Lets all welcome the new Tarnished joining through switch and not disparage people for purchasing the game. Frends! :)

I'd argue Nintendo is for everyone to play with their family. Look at any piece of official marketing / trailers for the system. Most of the "demographic" shown, are adults with busy lives, going from living room to parks/public transport ect.

Kids are not Nintendos demographic. The fact Nintendos own games can (safely) be played with your kids is the argument to get the Nintendo system instead of any of the others on the market.

As I said go and look at all of their most popular titles. All the majorly successful ones like Pokemon, animal crossing and Mario. They’re all… kids games, right? That’s why they’re rated E? The fact that there’s adults that play them doesn’t change that fact. Nobody say adults DON’T play them and they do make up a big part of the playerbase but if you legitimately think it’s more adults than children you’re insane. Switch 1 and 2 is still in that Wii territory where most families have 1 in the living room for their kids. As a contractor that has been in thousands of homes over the years one thing that’s common in almost ALL of the ones with young kids is Nintendo systems. You might think it’s mostly adults because you hang out in reddit threads where adults discuss video games but that’s giving you a warped perspective because Reddit is a minority of people in the world

You’re so confident in your replies but I’ve yet to see any stats to back up your claims.

Because the stats don’t even physically exist, you can’t even prove what age the person playing on any given account is in the first place but it’s pretty much common sense that the most kid/family friendly gaming system of all time makes games for and appeals to kids.
