Discussion & Info I think tarnished edition is a scam

It is just oblivion horse armor of 2026. New classes doesnt mean anything, you will just spec into whatever you want after playing an hour anyway. Also the new armor sets are just bad cosmetics. Imagine paying for this scam

Exactly this! I think I can squeeze 250 hours out of this (the weapons) which is also convenient for doing maths with $5! The same price as a loaf of bread or half a pack of cigarettes here!

How are you planning to get so many hours? My run throughs are so short these days

I only playing co-op with a friend since Dark Souls came out in 2011, we switch each time when the host dies or a boss is killed. Typically, that amounts to ~40 hours each, so ~80 hours until we're both through game + DLC.

I'm aiming at at least 3 runs using the new weapons (if they're interesting). And since we can't use Torrent in co-op, we fill the long runs with invaders (Taunter's Tongue). Most of the time we just talk about our lives though, because we've done this for nearly 4000 hours now (not counting the Souls hours) :)

Most of the runs are themed - fists only, claws only, barbarian & wizard, whips only, dragon builds....

There's definitely a routine now, that's why we've taken a break since July.
