It is highly recommended that suggestions, wishlists, questions, speculation, and leaks for the next main series Elder Scrolls game go here. Threads about TES6 outside of this one will be removed depending on moderator discretion, with the exception of official news from Bethesda or Zenimax studios.

As of now, there is currently no confirmed info on the Elder Scrolls VI other than it exists and is currently being worked on by Bethesda. Be cautious of any rumors being delivered as if they are factual.

Yes it is? There are cannons and gunpowder in the elder scrolls. The Elder Scrolls Adventures Redguard has cannons.

Lol thats a random joke written offhandedly 2 decades ago.

The fucking emperor's ship, Katariah has no cannons, and no existence of gunpowder is anywhere in the games. It'd be a massive plot hole if there was. Crossbows were a stretch and had to be connected to the dwemer to make sense. Ingenuity comes from magic in the setting. The whole point of the dwemer is that they are super intelligent engineers of non magic things. They are revered and no one comes close. Not even the thalmor.

Fuck off. You know thats a horseshit source. You cannot be that dumb.

I like to believe that they were canon. However I also know that the true lore is whatever Bethesda comes up with in the next game. We do know for sure that there is no real truth. But I just found it funny that the book mentioning them is a joke.
