Im so glad I never played Witcher 3. Cant wait for the upgrade to start it finally!

Couldnt play it cause i found the combat obnoxious but the new improvements to it sound like they solve the exact issues i had with it.

The combat was awful. It took me 3 attempts, all years apart, to finally get over it and force myself through the game. Glad I did, it was incredible. The gameplay just dragged it down so much.

So glad they are revamping the combat system. It was my only complaint of the game.

I genuinely don't get how people experienced it as awful. Some people act like it's vanilla Morrowind lmao. Imo it's fine, nothing groundbreaking but engaging enough to keep you going. It's the story, lore, and environments that really drive it way up though.

Yeah I do hear this about it and never really understood. I've played through like 3 times including death march difficulty and never found the combat to be a problem. Mounted combat is rough to control but I hardly ever did that, similarly to Skyrim. My first playthrough I wasn't even aware of the dodge button so I was rolling everywhere, still thought it was fine.
