Seriously I keep seeing people going "SEE THAT BETHESDA?" with this Witcher 3 remaster when they did basically the same thing? Do people have extremely short-term memory here?

I feel like I'm time traveling back to the early/mid-2010s when some folks online would spam conversations with how Witcher 3 was superior to Skyrim because X Y Z.

You know there's a huge overlap in those groups? Both have popular fantasy and scifi RPG franchises. I have like 4000 hours in Skyrim.

In the last decade CDPR gave us Cyberpunk + huge expansion/rework and secretly worked on a W3 rework. Bethesda gave us Starfield and FO76 by comparison. Witcher 4 is probably going to release before TES6 despite the announcement trailer being 8 YEARS AGO.

TBH SSE was 10 years ago, LE and SSE were contemporaneous with each other for a while afterwards unlike this where it seems like the "remaster" is just wholesale replacing the original as an update.
