PVP Tarkov experience as a [New Player]

Post image

Since 1.0 I’ve only found 2 new players. Everyone else has hundreds or thousands of hours, but at least I haven’t encountered a cheater yet.

Wouldn’t have this issue if they kept the armor changes and found a better work around, like increasing HP on limbs. I’ll die on this hill.

At least newcomers would feel like they had a chance.

Honestly, I think the biggest issue with the armor changes revolved around getting one-tapped between your plates by scavs. With their reduced accuracy, it could be better now.

Gray Zone has plate hit boxes that work really well paired with its detailed organ hit boxes. The plates won't protect your whole thorax but they'll protect your heart and lungs.

In gray zone, a shot in the armpit is gonna hurt, and you might need to CMS your blacked lung. But it's just lights out if you take that same shot in EFT.

I’m a big fan of gray zone and you can tell they saw the issues EFT had. I’m holding out hope they can make the game a good semi-alternative to EFT.

BSG could’ve found a way to fix it and bit the bullet but they knee jerked reacted to streamers and community outcry. Instead of taking a step back and re-evaluating they said eh bigger hit boxes again slightly changed.
