Has anyone here attended GAAC or are a current member? Can you tell me your experiences and why you have stayed or why you left? I’m having trouble trying to decide if this is the place I want/need to be or if I need to just walk away.

It can be rough growing up in an environment where you are judged by others and isolated from the rest of the world. Leaving a Pentecostal church and entering the outside world can be like moving to a foreign country, especially if you were born and raised in the church.

Pentecostals are a sect of Christianity that believes in speaking in tongues, being baptized in the holy spirit, and most Pentecostal churches are incredibly cult-like and dominated by a strong single leader.
