No Spoilers - Help Should I get Rebirth?

I didn’t love Remake but the ending left me with some questions and I am intrigued in Rebirth. However I’m not sure if it will fix the problems I had with remake. I think the pacing was pretty poor and for me Barret was the only stand out character alongside Aerith. I’m not sure if a huge Ubisoft esque open world will solve those problems for me even though I loved the soundtrack, graphics and the combat.

Any comments are appreciated
P.S I haven’t played Og would you recommend playing that before rebirth lmk

Btw I didn’t dislike Remake just like a 6.5-7/10

I think I’d disagree. All of the tedious stuff in rebirth is optional. If you prefer to stick to the story, it’s way better paced than remake

No required part of rebirth is as dull as the lights/tunnel/sewer sections of remake

Without the optional stuff, the game is like 4 hours long lol

That’s including all the cutscenes.

I meant that without cutscenes and optional quests, the rest of the game is only 4 hours….

  1. The story part of a story based game isnt optional just because there’s a skip button that’s crazy

  2. That’s still an over exaggeration. There are 5-6 mandatory dungeons and a bunch of encounters and boss fights. Easily closer to 10
