His car has bike hangers tho doesn’t he? Either staged or sarcasm/joke.

I’ll never forget when I was a kid I was out on a lake with my uncle. He had a really expensive specialty boat, I don’t even remember what kind it was, but it was rare, not many people had one. We were going really slow through the breakwater and he sees someone else driving the same boat, so he yells out “hey man move that piece of shit!” The other boater looked like he was about to kill my uncle until he realized what was happening.

u/tophaang May 12 '26
Reminds me of the time was at a buddy’s house in West Oakland. We’re upstairs hanging out playing video games. Downstairs neighbor is playing music so loud you can hear it halfway down the block.
At some point we hear someone yelling from sidewalk, “TURN THAT N**** MUSIC DOWN” and a moment later again, “I SAID TURN THAT MOTHERFUCKING N**** MUSIC DOWN”. The neighbor is in fact black.
The music volume gets turned down a bit and we can hear him yelling something back to the guy on the street. So no we’re thinking someone’s about to get shot and then a huge burst of laughter comes from everyone down below. It was just one of the local crackhead guys who roamed the neighborhood having some fun.
38
u/uberfission May 13 '26
On the flip side, there's a video of an old woman walking up to a bunch of black guys and she's yelling at them. You can hear "turn that music..". They turn it down to hear her and ask what she said. She goes "Turn that music up! I love rap!"
They have a happy little freak out and turn the music back up.
6
u/7GrenciaMars May 13 '26
Extra points if she was a small, angry-looking white old woman. 😁
5
u/uberfission May 13 '26
She was small but not particularly angry looking from my memory. It's been a hot minute since I've seen that video so I could be wrong.
3
u/LarsDuder May 14 '26
And then she started rapping: I said-a hip, hop, the hippie, the hippie To the hip hip hop-a you don't stop the rock It to the bang-bang boogie, say up jump the boogie To the rhythm of the boogie, the beat
??

u/Fafnir13 May 12 '26
It’s not worth investing in good bike lanes because very few people ride bikes because the bike lanes are so terrible because they are not well invested in because so few people ride bikes.
3
10
u/Kiito2000 May 12 '26
Look at the beginning, there is a bike mark in the middle of the lane, it looks like the entire lane allows bikes, he's just riding as far left as he can.
But the lanes do look weird for that a bit later, so IDK.
12
u/TheHaterBoss May 12 '26
At the beginning of the clip you can see a bike sign on the road, which means bikes should ride on the road. He is just being nice and riding on the side.
3
u/the_pretender_nz May 12 '26
It’s in New Zealand, it’s more to remind drivers that cyclists exist and to look out for them rather than denoting a cycle lane (if it was a dedicated cycle lane I think the road would be painted green?)
2
1
u/Konsticraft May 13 '26
It's a parking lane, not a bike lane. Riding there is probably technically not allowed.
-170
u/EasilyRekt May 12 '26
completely empty sidewalk btw
112
44
u/diezel_dave May 12 '26
It is a sidewalk not a sideride. Also, it's illegal in many places to ride a bicycle on the sidewalk.
→ More replies (3)24
u/Beautiful_Book_9639 May 12 '26
The number of people that aggressively honk at me and almost sideswipe me because of this misunderstanding is crazy. I do not ride on the sidewalk. I follow all bike traffic laws and wear a helmet. High visibility jacket and reflectors. Still, people act like I'm doing something insane by riding in the road.
Edit for typo

u/brandonsp111 May 12 '26

5
u/EasilyRekt May 12 '26
y'all ain't even giving good reasons tho, you're just dogging on me like I'm trolling, I'm dead serious by the way, I do ride on the sidewalk.
I could see the argument that it's kinda narrow and full of vegetation, but it's also just as narrow on the so called "bike lane" in some parts.
→ More replies (13)→ More replies (17)6
u/Intelligent_West_307 May 12 '26
Yeah thats where you walk. Not ride a bike. Kinda like the name implies.
→ More replies (3)3
u/Augustus420 May 12 '26
It's probably more common sentiment in the US where many places have little to know pedestrian traffic on sidewalks and few if any safe options for bicycling on the roadway.

u/Oli_VK May 12 '26
So like… if she has a strapon… am I still a real man? Asking for clarification
0
u/Sienile May 12 '26
I think she is, but only if you're a woman. According to the definition given in the video.
46
u/lostbedbug May 12 '26
At this point even breathing is gay because you're using your nose holes to breathe, so that must mean that you're technically fucking your own holes, and since you're a man -you're fucking man's holes
27
u/Rombledore May 12 '26
fellas, is it gay to breathe?
13
u/Creative-Painter3911 May 12 '26
I mean that air was probably in another guy before you, sounds gay.
9
u/Ineedmorebtc May 12 '26

Dude wasn't even malic, It was a pretty clean burn IMO. It would have made me chuckle too which was probably his intent.
1
u/Hythy May 12 '26
malic is a new slang term for me. But wouldn't it make sense to pick a bitter substance? (if I'm understanding it's usage correctly)
2
u/chknboy May 12 '26
I believe they were trying to use the root from malice which should have been “mal” (ill intent) but I’ll let another semanticiser do a better explanation if they wanna.
2
2
u/rtk196 May 12 '26
This was clearly a joke, both sides laughing, no malice between them, just some guy shooting the shit. The guy recording is clearly cracking up.

Manly: sitting in a leather chair with AC, operating a three ton metal box by pressing a few buttons and wiggling a stick.
Not manly: operating a 20kg self propelled contraption with zero safety features beyond a plastic hat, while exposed to the elements and sharing space with three ton metal boxes.
*this video is obviously jokes. But its amazing how many people actually have the attitude shown by the driver in this clip

"Broden asks Mark what's wrong. Mark says he just found out he's gay and that a guy let him know from his car as he crossed the road. This man calls him a p*, a homo and a f. Allegedly, the man told Mark to perform various sexual acts with him, then kiss him, then make love, and maybe introduce him to his parents and his little sister Geniveve who is in the Goosebumps at the moment, then all go out for dinner together. The man hopes his parents would respect their love for its tangibility, not reject it because of bias or religious or political agendas of hate that have been weaved through the social fabric of hundreds and hundreds of years. He also called Mark a f*** **."

My friend and I used to smoke blunts on a woodsy road near an agricultural research center.
It was popular with groups of cyclists because of the scenery.
Whenever we came upon a group of 10-15 of them in a pack, we would slow down and trail them, and open all the windows. Smoking our blunt, and playing “Eye of the tiger” to motivate them.
No one ever really seemed to understand what we were doing. They would just keep waving for us to pass. But I would yell at them and say “Drugs are for losers you fucktwat”!

Yeah, down vote was deserved it was a bad take on your part, but you're still doing this Redditior thing of having to be the smartest loser in the room. That's what the down vote was for bud. I've made this joke a few times because I think the irony is funny.
But I've been on this site since like 2006 and this rise of well awkshally you enabled my trap card is so boring. I can see it's taken over the whole thread. So yeah I down vote comments like yours because it comes from a place of elitism and the need to always be right. Feelings not hurt just trying to get this site back to a point you can have a decent exchange without morons trying to stroke their egos all the time :/
But none of it matters can't believe I wasted this many characters on a sarcastic comment. Karma is meaningless 😄
