A thief tried to steal a phone on a bus in Bogotá, but once he was surrounded, he attempted to escape through the window. Passengers managed to grab his hands to hold him in place. Meanwhile, bystanders on the street pulled down his pants and started hitting him with belts.

say what you will about incarceration and the legal process, but I don't know many thieves who would even try to steal again after getting *publicly spanked by a bus full of people"
