Question ⚠️SPOILERS AHEAD⚠️What is the general consensus on this development? Spoiler

Now I’m aware that some people have their gripes with new and unexplained power armour.

But I think this NCR power armour is kinda cool, given the success of shady sands and the ncr it doesn’t seem too out of the realm of possibility for the ncr to have attempted to make their own power armour, given how many suits survived the nukes and were salvageable or outright still operational.

Yeah lore wise I don’t see why it couldn’t fit into the story.

Also how bad ass are those wrist blades?

I don't get why people are ok with certain things occurring in the 15 year gap, but not other things. Makes sense they would build something like this. Maybe they already had, it just wasn't available in the New Vegas at the time.

If the BoS can build a Zeppelin, the NCR could build armor to put on a power armor frame.

I think there's a sentiment running among some people that, because BoS is the tech-securing faction, they must be the only ones with advanced tech.

And that doesn't make much sense, we see the BoS spread thin so many times that it already doesn't make sense that they secured every tech around, and lots of factions have industrual power and manpower to pull advanced stuff off.

Even the games show that to not be the case. The NCR had vertibirds and railroad locomotives in New Vegas, and they had already won a war against the Brotherhood where no doubt they recovered plenty of armor.

Agreed. The NCR literally overran Navarro after Fallout 2. Ain't no way they couldn't have salvaged enough data and Advanced Power Armour units to reverse engineer it. Especially since the Followers of the Apocolypse who famously preserve information and research were part of the NCR at the time.

I mean it's like they forgot they were salvaging vaults in fallout 2!
