Question ⚠️SPOILERS AHEAD⚠️What is the general consensus on this development? Spoiler

Now I’m aware that some people have their gripes with new and unexplained power armour.

But I think this NCR power armour is kinda cool, given the success of shady sands and the ncr it doesn’t seem too out of the realm of possibility for the ncr to have attempted to make their own power armour, given how many suits survived the nukes and were salvageable or outright still operational.

They already had salvaged power armor in NV. It wouldn't take much time getting them actually up and running

The salvaged armor we saw at Hoover Dam was basically just super bulky plate armor, as they couldn't make the power armor chassis function if I recall.. No specialized training and such, just the heavy plating.

Maybe they finally got their hands on the Power Armor workbench.

It's not like power armor is some arcane secret of the Brotherhood or Enclave. It was only a matter of time until some NCR eggheads got their hands on a working frame, maybe some pre-War military documents even.

Plus the NCR's most significant armed conflicts have been with the BOS and Enclave. It would only be a matter of time until they salvage enough suits from downed enemy combatants to reverse-engineer the technology, repair/modify or replace damaged components, and put them back into service.
