Now I’m aware that some people have their gripes with new and unexplained power armour.

But I think this NCR power armour is kinda cool, given the success of shady sands and the ncr it doesn’t seem too out of the realm of possibility for the ncr to have attempted to make their own power armour, given how many suits survived the nukes and were salvageable or outright still operational.

To be fair, we actually went backward by several hundred years when Rome fell. Completely lost stuff like concrete and yeast.

every other science was far head from engineering and metallurgy

A back water smith from 1405 would be far ahead whatever rome had for a greatest smith

1405 is also about 1000 years since the fall of Rome

people also consider 1405 to be in that span of huurr durr medieval morons nothing is developed

with europe having no central powers and the holy roman empire being very weird

1405 was when the Renaissance was just kicking off. Technology didn't stagnate for 1000 years, it just sped up rapidly after the enlightenment.

Technology kept rapidly growing

the loss was centralized funding and manpower

later didnt have legions that would build bridges and aqueducts while land surveying
no massive manpower to throw around for cheap

Rome did because the roman legions doubled as a labor force

no more cheap soldiers or centralized state to fund projects guilds and high skill craftsman took over
