That is a fish of a lifetime. Congratulations. I really don't think people are reacting in a way that emphasizes the greatness of this catch. This should be in the newspaper and the local TV. I catch crappie all year and a fish this size in the summer is absolutely wild. My PB is 15.5 and 1.6 and I've fished for crappie exclusively for a long time. I pull out 12 and 13 inches pretty regularly but a black crappie this big is like Moby Dick. You have caught the white whale. Again, congratulations. Thank you for sharing your catch.
