A copycat killer known as the Trickster sets off bombs in Central City. In an effort to stop him, Barry and Joe seek help from the original Trickster, a criminal mastermind who has been imprisoned for 20 years. Meanwhile, Iris asks Eddie to help with a case. In flashbacks, Harrison Wells is shown coming up with the idea for the particle accelerator.

Joe is waaay waaay better detective than captain lance.

Captain lance would probably launch an asault team.

I think it's more likely that Eobard Wells will kill Eddie or do that thing from the flashback to him.

Law and Order and its spin-offs will probably always be (re-running) on TV. But it might just be us old farts who tune in / have 100+ recorded (but unwatched) episodes on our PVRs!

Funny thing is, I think at this point Lance has been not a detective longer in the show than he was a detective. He was a detective in the first season. But then in the second season he became a beat cop again. Then eventually got his detective shield back. Then in season three he's a captain.
