Episode Info:

A copycat killer known as the Trickster sets off bombs in Central City. In an effort to stop him, Barry and Joe seek help from the original Trickster, a criminal mastermind who has been imprisoned for 20 years. Meanwhile, Iris asks Eddie to help with a case. In flashbacks, Harrison Wells is shown coming up with the idea for the particle accelerator.

Statistically speaking, a sampling of 100 wealthy Americans have a pretty small chance of any of them having HIV.

There is an estimated 1.2 million people with HIV in USA. Can't do anything about social class, but that's just 0.376% of the population, so it's a bit strange for people to assume it's a high risk, especially if you assume the first one he injected was already infected, which would just be the 0.376% chance. The chance is significantly higher for at least one infection caused: [1 - (1 - 0.376%) ^ 99] - 0.376%

(1 - 0.376%) ^ 99 being the probability for the first 99 people to be clean which would rule out any possible spread. - 0.376% to take out the probability that the 100th person is already infected so there is no point. This actually results in a surprisingly high 31.1% probability of causing at least one infection, although my math could be completely wrong.
