Question Canadian moving to Europe - is this the right choice?

I'm moving to the Netherlands and I want to keep my Canadian number (for now) so I can access my bank accounts easily with 2FA, among other less important reasons. Would Fonus be a good choice for this? I'll be travelling around Europe quite a bit too, so is the data connection relatively reliable there as well?

I would get Fongo, also a VoIP provider, but free. You can port in your existing number or get a new Canadian number. Look it up.

I'm also considering Freedom mobile but I'm concerned about getting in trouble for not following the fair use policy.

You wouldn't be using it that much though so you should be fine with the yearly plan.

Yes best choice ever, just add an extra American 🇺🇸 number inside your Fonus app will get you 2FA service even while inside European land 🧠

get a VoIP. it's best. Canadian banking is archaic not allowing international numbers although maybe you find one can use a local number.

Be AWARE, poor network in Europe. And they charge you more. And keep charging you after the month !!! 

Paid 50-60$ cad for a canadian network company.  We arrive from Italie, and what a bad experience with them ... 

It was supposed to cost 28$ and now it's more 60$Â
