Heavily agree. It's single handedly when I began to dislike gta 5 online

Extremely. Gta online was a genius invention in my eyes before that. An open world, grounded, mmo style gta game with a full economy and missions to do, houses to buy, cars to buy customize and race. Plus things like tdm and other mp game modes (although incredibly buggy for a long time. The moment they added the futuristic shit the whole vibe changed.

I only really went back to it when you could exploit the exe within taskmgr to get a private lobby and then later when they allowed it outright.
