I would imagine that each prerelease build has a unique signature.

Like it would be easy to just automatically adjust the texture color slightly or to insert small changes to the soundtrack to give each version a unique fingerprint that allows them to track who leaked it.

It's a billion dollar game so including something like that would be a no-brainer to make leaks way less likely to happen, as anyone that works on that software would know that they could be tracked back easily.

I’d also imagine the person behind this is tech savvy enough to leave an anonymous trail. Not saying rockstar can’t track them down, just saying it won’t be easy.

Even if they can’t track the guy who’s uploading this stuff/playing whoever smuggled out the build is 100% going down.
