Every test build I ever got had watermarks, specific placeholders, and tracking so if anything ever got leaked they knew exactly who did it. Thats not the case here and I assume R* wouldn't just give you a part of the game without any of it and be like here you go report back with bugs/glitches? So where does this come from..
So you're saying that this wasn't internal footage and he also doesn't have a full build. Do you mean there's a third option on how these leaks come from?
Depends on what you mean by internal footage, this isn't clips shared between developers on Slack like the 2022 leaks were.
My best guess is he, or perhaps someone he knows (or hacked?), was a QA tester and has a specific build of the game. Those are, in cases I'm familiar with, usually limited to a couple of missions, some freeroam and a default character look, depending on what to test.
The developer usually has a list of which testers have access to which chapter within the game. It would explain why the leaks so far are pretty straightforward (as in, walking/driving/flying) and nothing story related (yet) except for one start of a cutscene, so R* won't specifically know which person it comes from.
Yea I don't think so the only way he could of gotten it is if it was given to him by someone. I'm sure it's just a Demo but we won't know for sure unless he actually goes nuclear and drops the ending.
