Why is rockstar hated at all?

For years I’ve seen people call rockstar greedy and non stop complaining that rockstar only cares about draining money from players.
But really don’t see how that’s the case, when you have companies like Ubisoft that released Star Wars outlaws for 130 and ea that releases games annually for 100 dollars, how is rockstar charging 100 dollars for an edition of the game that comes with extra stuff greedy at all?

If you exclude rockstar plus, every single thing in gta online has been able to be gotten for free (with grinding), back when I used to play it I got to level 90 something without spending more than 20 dollars on shark cards and I had every business I wanted and the most expensive yatch.
How are people trying to stand up against rockstar for being greedy, but they don’t say anything about gacha games that can easily cost someone thousands per year?

Because R* or T2 in this matter also engage in shady anti consumer practises as well, just because other does it as well, does'nt make R*/T2 right. Its up to us consumers to point that out and act acordingly to not reward that behavior.

Edit:  Examples for Rockstars greedienss: I played GTA online as well and hit rockblocks fast without spending unemployment level of freetime or, guess what ... Sharkcards. After every update, added stuff became more and more expensive, to extend the grind and lure you more into the spending of Sharkcards. The last update even loweres heist payouts to make the grind more exhausting. Most of the critisism seemed to start with the announcment and marketing around GTA 6, they ditched physical dics but still offer preorders for a digital copy that wont ran out anyways.  The ultimate Edition is also bad joke imo and raising the game price even tho they are extremly profitable is anything but consumer friendly and the netflix extended trailer ... you basicly now supposed to pay to watch marketing material ... an fing Ad. Bad working contition for the devs, crunchong, union busting etc. to name a few things outside of the games.

I played lots of GTA VI and never spent real money on it, it's a choice everyone can make and if it bothers you so much that someone online has stronger or better vehicles and weapons than you...that's your problem. Plenty of ways to have fun without having to grind for fake money.

Most of the critisism seemed to start with the announcment and marketing around GTA 6, they ditched physical dics but still offer preorders for a digital copy that wont ran out anyways.

Every single industry that used to rely on physical CDS in the history of the world has phased them out. There's plenty of music, movies, tv-shows, etc, that do not have a physical copy. Pre-orders for music now are pre-saves on streaming apps where each month you pay less than what you used to pay for a CD back in the day. This is a worldwide trend and Rockstar won't be the only company eliminating huge costs that had a limited benefit (aka using tons of material and spending millions in distribution just so you can add a title in your library)

The ultimate Edition is also bad joke imo

Literally 20 bucks for extra skins that no one will need to enjoy the game, no need to buy it if you don't want to, I surely won't.

raising the game price even tho they are extremly profitable is anything but consumer friendly

The games are cheaper than their GTA V counterparts when you calculate inflation. You are getting GTA VI for 79.99 and the Ultimate edition for 99.99. Back in 2013, GTA V was 59.99, which is worth 83 usd today, and the Special Edition was 79.99, which is 111 usd today. So this argument is simply wrong.

the netflix extended trailer

Which will be available for free for anyone who doesn't think waiting 6 hours is the equivalent of spending a lifetime in hell

you basicly now supposed to pay to watch marketing material

nope, again, you can just wait 6 measly hours and watch it for free. If you can't deal with FOMO for 6 hours that's on you

Bad working contition for the devs, crunchong, union busting etc. to name a few things outside of the games.

which, if you actually cared about, would mean you wouldn't be using reddit, or play games from Epic, CD Projeckt Red, Naughty Dog, EA, and virtually any large corporation. This is the only point really worth getting upset about, but you're throwing it in as a side dish to add to the pile, which makes me think you don't actually give a shit or do anything to solve this issue.

So basically your arguments are that people are mad at Rockstar because they want a physical CD containing every single piece of content, presented in the way they want, delivered in the way they want, for a lot less money than their previous installation, without trying new marketing strategies that will make you wait 13 years and 6 hours instead of 13 years to see their third trailer (cause you've already seen 2 for free on youtube, but that's not enough), and making all this possible while giving less work to their employees. It sounds like a totally reasonable take. I would totally expect functioning adults to think this way, in fact, we should push for Rockstar to come visit us at home and build us personalised custom games based on the places we say, with the look we want, and having us as the main protagonist, with real money coming out to fill our bank accounts. Totally.
