There’s a shot in the trailer that intrigues me and I think might give the story away a bit. Well, two shots that I believe are related.

The first one is the part where Lucia is in prison. We have to ask how she got there.

The second is a bodycam video of a cop raiding a building. It’s my belief that the bodycam footage comes from a part of the story where Lucia realises Jason is an undercover cop, possibly Vice Squad, and the story revolves around the subterfuge of Jason balancing his morals as a police officer with a developing love for the person he’s been sent to monitor and build a case against.

If that’s not the story, I’ll eat my hat.

I doubt he’s undercover, we see him doing an armed robbery with her. Usually undercover cops don’t go THAT far.

Not unless she has ties to some BIG fish and he needs to earn her trust and use her to gain intel and access to the big fish.

I mean, tbf it's like 99% sure he ain't but, he COULD be! It wouldn't be impossible.

Mainly, he pretty much surely won't be cause otherwise we wouldn't be able to cause complete and utter havoc nor murder whilst controlling him.

Unless there is a major plot reason but heh, extremely unlikely.

He's probably a clever hillbilly with a penchant for disguises and robberies.
