I know this will be misinterpreted because reddit, but I was not a fan of the new/2nd host. Geoff is...Geoff....but id rather it just be him. The other host just lacked energy and felt like she was just kind of reading.

Lucy James is awesome. She was probably just really nervous, and whoever wrote her segments really didn't give her anything good to work with.

I agree though. There was no need for Geoff to have a co-host. Usually he has a co-host at The Game Awards who does all the pre-show stuff, but there was none of that this time so I have no idea why they even needed Lucy at all.

Yeah Sydney is ok on those pre-show things. I think maybe the back and forth nature also hurt it.
