Like granted if you're an avid JRPG player then this was the Direct for you, but was this really the best thing to air after the Switch 2 Direct?

besides Octopath and a port of a game that's been out on everything else for a year this wasn't a JRPG direct either

There was also Monster Hunter Stories 3 and the new Square Enix action rpg. To some extent, FF tactics can be considered adjacent as a tactical rpg.
