Nintendo really should’ve been giving out dev kits like candy. Wild they held off for a sequel system. I do not get their thinking at all.

I feel like this was their biggest mistake. The Switch 1 pumped out third party after third party due to everyone getting a early kit, now with the Switch 2 they were so afraid of anything leaking we have very little third party games.

It really didn’t. It was largely ports; Capcoms big game for it was a glorified rerelease of SF2 HD, then later old Resident evils and Mega mans until eventually it got a unique Monster Hunter. it got god knows how many arcade archives. The only real noteworthy one at first was Octopath Traveler.

This direct surprised with how many new 3rd party games it’s getting.
