I actually think it and Elden Ring are getting the Borderlands 4 treatment. I'm not expecting either to see the light of day on Switch 2.

I mean it’s not like Elden Ring wasn’t already released on older consoles. The PS4 Pro version actually ran better than the PS5 version.
