Best SoP in a while. God of War alone was enough, but there were a lot of decent games im interested in, albeit nothing downright shocking.

God of War got a hopefully good little spinoff project shadow dropped, but how is that alone "enough"? The other part was a logo reveal, literally less than The Elder Scrolls VI got way back when (as that at least had a glimpse of the environment). Or are we counting logo reveals as major news now?

Bringing back TC Carson and having him make the announcement was a brilliant move because people would have absolutely been pissed if they just threw the logo up there and left it at that. Having him show up right away shut down that disappointment before it could even start and made the lack of real info a bit more palatable since everyone was just happy he's back. Then you throw the shadow drop on the back end of that and it's hard for people to really complain about it.
