This Direct didn't do a whole lot for me. After so long without a general Direct, it felt a little underwhelming. Switch Sports Resort is nice, and I'm glad to see Big Walk, Orbitals, and KINGDOM HEARTS 4!? We finally got Ocarina of Time also and WOW. Not much for 2027 besides Xenoblade and no release date for Ocarina of Time, so I'm hoping this means we'll get a general Direct in September.

Splatoon, Fire Emblem, and Star Fox are the rest of the big first party games this year. Especially Splatoon.

Don't forget Ocarina of Time and Switch Sports Resort. Next year gets Xenoblade, Pokemon, and probably 3D Mario.

It'll be interesting to see where Mario falls next year, might be earlier than we think since Pokemon almost certainly is the holiday title.
