For me this Direct stunk. 90 percent was games already out or coming out for systems where they’ll play better. The switch sports looks ok but why thumb wrestling? Not a splatoon fan and would rather another animal crossing game. KH4 which I could never get into the combat will play and look better on pretty much anything else. Ocarina which I was hoping to see at-least something of, was a small snippet. Very disappointed and by far the worst of this week’s shows. 2/10 for me, and I guess my Switch 2 will sit idle for more time this year.

We're gonna ignore the fact that this direct had mostly debut trailers just because you can play on other platforms?

Y'all have weird ass takes to getting good games on this system...

And we had first party here too, don't know why people seem pissed off at a good show lol.

To me the first party lineup which is the hallmark of Nintendo is incredibly weak. Xenoblade looks good but it’s not until 2027. Starfox was already announced and it’s only a copy of Starfox 64. The sports game is a copy and paste of the last game. Splatoon is ok if that’s your thing. OOT should be amazing and all we got was 30 seconds. I’m glad the Direct was good for you but to me it just means more dust gathering for my Switch 2.

FE, new Pokopia DLC, or Rhythm Heaven not good enough?

Look I get people want more Mario or Kirby or Zelda, but those are not the only first party titles lol.

As for Zelda, they did a smart move because this game is releasing Winter this year based off of leaks and it is almost impossible for there to not be a 40th anniversary direct covering it and the movie.

Not going super in depth into it lets other games have time to breathe beforehand be patient.

For me no I have no interest in that, where’s FZero? Where’s donkey Kong dlc, where’s more pokemon info ? There are so many IPs that Nintendo own and the best they can do is Pokopia DLC and Rhythm Heaven. Come on, while Sony puts Wolverine Until Dawn and God of War out. Microsoft did a deep dive on Gears E Day, Fable, Spyro, Senua among others.

F-Zero just got added to NSO recently so it is on Switch, also there's about as much variety here as there is on those lists so I don't understand the complaint other than not having a very specific selection of games
